Post
Posts are the main part of a blog. When someone writes an article in a blog,
it is known as post. Whenever a post is made, visitors who visit the blog can then make comments about the post.

Comments
Comments are follow-ups made to the published posts by visitors on a blog. Comments
may be either from anonymous users or from registered users. Nowadays many blogs allow anonymous users to comment. But due to spamming, comments are held on for moderation and only posted if they are valid and make sense.

Permalinks
Permalinks stands for permanent links. A permalink is a way to make the URLs of each posts more readable and easily recognizable.

Trackbacks
Trackbacks are referral links. When someone refers to your post in their blog it notifies the original blogger that someone has reffered to the content of your blog.

RSS
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. RSS is a very powerful way to
distribute the up-to-date content or news from your website to other people who
subscribe to RSS in your blog. Now WordPress and almost every other blogs supports RSS feeds.

Tags
Tags are keywords relevant to your post through which someone may find a particular post. When you make the post the keywords help categorize the post helping reader more to find out a particular post on a topic. Tags also helps in Search Engine Optimization of your blog post.
