Little Tips

Your Home Page Never Being Changed

Some websites illegally modify your registry editor and set their website as default home page. So this is how to stop it:

1. Right-click on the Internet Explorer icon on your desktop and select “Properties”.

2. In the “Target” box you will see “C:Program FilesInternetExplorerIEXPLORE.EXE” is written

3. Now by add the URL of the site to the end of this and it will overrides any
Homepage setting in internet options, for example:

“C:Program FilesInternet ExplorerIEXPLORE.EXE” www.example.com

Change Web Page Font Size on the Fly

If your mouse has a wheel for scrolling, you can change font size on the fly when viewing a Web page. To do so:

Press and hold Ctrl. Scroll down to enlarge the font size. Scroll up to reduce the font size.

You might find it useful to reduce font size when printing a Web page, so that you can fit more content on the page.

Use your Windows Key

The Windows logo key, located in the bottom row of most computer keyboards is a little-used treasure. It is the shortcut anchor for the following commands:

Windows: Display the Start menu
Windows + D: Minimize or restore all windows
Windows + E: Display Windows Explorer
Windows + F: Display Search for files
Windows + Ctrl + F: Display Search for computer
Windows + F1: Display Help and Support Center
Windows + R: Display Run dialog box
Windows + break: Display System Properties dialog box
Windows + shift + M: Undo minimize all windows
Windows + L: Lock the workstation
Windows + U: Open Utility Manager
Windows + Q: Hold Windows Key, then tap Q to scroll thru the different users on your pc.

More to come next time!

Plan Your Vacation With Trusted Tours & Attractions

Tag: Othersanirban @ 6:53 pm

Boston, Massachusetts

I am one of those people who love to travel. I do go for frequent holidays around local places. I may not have money today to visit other states/countries but I would have enough soon to go places in future. I enjoy every single moment when I am out to see a new place and it is just so exciting. I haven’t seen the whole world yet but I know there are many amazing places in this world which is worth seeing. And with Trusted Tours & Attractions there is not much to worry about. With discount packages and refund facility Trusted Tours & Attractions also provide hotels and lodging (refunds are not meant for hotels and lodging).

One of the place I have in mind to visit soon is Boston. Boston is a traditional and trendy, passionate, upscale and blue collar. There are so many beautiful places around Boston one should really make themselves on the sight to see. I am really interested to go out and be on Boston Whale Watching Cruise where one can be on cruise liner and see those beautiful sea creatures. Another remarkable opportunity I would love to grab is seeing Boston from water as the sun sets in the backdrop. People who love to explore for adventure and fun can walk the paths of Burial Hill, Plymouth’s oldest cemetery. It is said that the spirits rise on the Salem Twilight Ghost Tour. There are so many things to do in Boston that one can never feel bored and left out.

Boston s rich ethnicity is best experienced through its food. I love trying out new stuffs and I made up my mind I am going to try their savor homemade gnocchi in the North End; and also going to try a traditional Irish Breakfast at a pub near Faneuil Hall (It is quite popular).

With all the sightseeing tours and more to do, I heard Boston is a small place and easy to navigate. It is easy to approach people, safe to walk.

If you are clueless about how to spend next vacation then I would recommend to look for heading to Trusted Tours & Attractions. Sign up for the Trusted Tours & Attractions eNewsletter and get a chance of winning a handheld GPS*. Each month you will find interesting stories and travel tips.
