Google is the most used Search Engine on internet. But here I share some tips on how to use Google more effectively because Google is a powerful tool if you know how exactly to use it.

Intitle: At the beginning of a query word or phrase (intitle:”Three Blind Mice”) restricts your search results to just the titles of Web pages.

Intext: It does the opposite of intitle:, searching only the body text, ignoring titles, links, and so forth. It is perfect when what you are searching for the term in HTML body.

Link: This will let you see which pages are linking to your Web page or to another page you are interested in.

site: (which restricts results to top-level domains only) with intitle: to find certain types of pages. For example, get scholarly pages about Mark Twain by searching for intitle:”Mark Twain”site:edu.

Google has a number of services that can help you accomplish tasks you may never have thought to use Google for. For example, the new calculator feature
