Six-Core CPU
Don’t be amazed to know that Intel has already planned in detail for it new generation of CPUs, which will be code named as “Dunnington”. The new CPU will be a Xeon server chip with six core, 16 MB of cache and 1.9 billion transistors. The design is very interesting as it will have space for upto eight cores on a single die and would be supporting multithreading. It will be using tripple channel DDR3 RAM and will include an on-die memory controller just like AMD.
